I have Animal Crossing New Leaf downloaded from 3dscia.com. Every time I launch the game it says I need to update it, it plays fine without except online features say I need the update to work. Today I pressed Y to update which said it was successful but after it said I still needed to update. The update for Animal Crossing: New Leaf is already available. Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Welcome amiibo (3DS) comes out at retail on November 23rd in Japan, November 25th in Europe, and December 2nd in North America. - The Animal Crossing™: New Leaf game has a new lease on life thanks to the addition of amiibo compatibility. This free update adds in support for all Animal Crossing series amiibo figures and cards.
- People with the update had their game title changed to 'Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo', and thus, as far I know, don't have access to updates for vanilla New Leaf. Nintendo made sure to allow people without the DLC to download it together with the 1.5 patch, by including an option for those whose title was still 'Animal Crossing.

Unfortunately, it looks like it also added a couple of bugs. One of them impacts users who somehow managed to get items they're not supposed to get during a normal playthrough, and it will not be fixed.
There's also a glitch that nets you a [004 – 6006] error when trying to download presents or campers from the internet. Just cause 3 female mod. The good news is that this glitch has already been taken care of: the latest Software update for the game fixes it.
